MY PET

Our first picture together

I love talking about my pet; because I really love her.  She is called Helga and is a German shepherd. She came to my home in December of 2015 and she was four months old then. When someone meets her they always tell me that she has a very good personality.

She is the baby of the house; my parents and my brother really love her too. She is also very playful and friendly. My cousin has two little kids and they love to go to my home and play with my dog.

I think that many people have a wrong impression about German shepherds, but is a very friendly and intelligent race. I think that is the main reason why the police use them as an aid in certain cases.

I never had a dog before her and I never imagined I would have one, but it has been a wonderful experience without any doubts. It has changed my way of seeing animals and I have learned to love and understand them better than before.

Today in particular has been a bad day for Helga, she is sick and I had to take her to the veterinary. Now she is a little bit better but still sick, so I am very worried for her and I hope she recovers soon :(

WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR ME TO LEARN ENGLISH

I remember when I was little and had English class; I think I must have been 4 or 5 years old. I remember that they were entertaining classes and it was my favorite subject at that time.

I think I liked it because it was a very different culture and I liked to learn something so unknown. I also liked it because in my first year of school we would sit in a circle and it was more relaxed and fun.

When I grew up I lost my interest for English class. Since then I have difficulties speaking in English, but with the years I have developed my ability to understand when I hear English and when I read it.

After 14 years of English classes at school I thought I would never have to have English classes again. But in University I am facing this challenge again. 

MY BEST HOLIDAYS

In July of 2014 my friend Amalia told me that she had planned on going to Europe in the summer. I had always wanted to go so I decided to go with her. A month after buying the ticket, our friend Magdalena decided to come with us, so finally, in January of 2015 the three of us hope on the plain!!!!

We travel around a lot of different countries for fifty one days and we went to nine countries. My favorite cities were Seville, Bruges, Vienna and Prague. Although I honestly liked all places, all the places we went to were beautiful.

I could talk all day about the different activities we did, but I think that one of the best was when we took a train to Pisa in Italy and we met the famous Tower.

It was the best trip of my life because we didn't have any problems and for two months our only concern was meeting and enjoying incredible places.

SPAIN

Two summers ago I went to Spain but I just visited a few places. I would like to visit it again because I think it is a country with beautiful landscapes and people are very kind.

  

If I had the opportunity to go again, I would like to go to all the south of the country. For example I would like to go to Granada and visit Alhambra, an Arabic palace and fortress complex from 889.

Bullfight

I don´t know a lot about Spain, just the typical and tourist things. I know there are bullfights in some cities and also that the national drink is called “sangria”, which is a mixture of red wine, fruit, sugar and brandy.

I would like to move to Spain, maybe just for a year or two. If I have the opportunity I want to get a post graduate degree in Political Communication at some university in Madrid.
